The 2017 Bush Adventure Therapy National Forum invites a wide number of practitioners and interested people to connect and share their knowledge, skills and experience of working therapeutically in the great outdoors.
Come and connect with practitioners from a variety of fields: researchers, explorers, instructors, teachers, therapists and generally wonderful folk for a weekend in the stunning Macedon Ranges! Only 35 minutes from the airport and 55 minutes from the centre of Melbourne.
Candlebark school, is set on a beautiful 1200 acre property of lush forest and farmland. Pitch your tent by a babbling brook or near the mighty gums. If camping is not your thing, check out the accommodation in picturesque Mt Macedon and surrounds!
Our forums are designed to be inclusive, collaborative and experiential – just like the work that bush adventure practitioners deliver. We invite you to get involved, share your stories, relax and immerse yourself in nature for a weekend of connecting, sharing, learning and experiencing.
This year’s theme is ‘Connecting’ and aims to explore ways to not only connect with nature but with oneself, each other and new ideas. Whether you’re just exploring your interest in Bush Adventure Therapy, an ‘old hat’ or brand new to the field, there is something for everyone.
See you at Candlebark!
