Outdoors Victoria, the lead voice for Victoria’s outdoor recreation, education, therapy and nature-based tourism community, is seeking an experienced and capable leader to help grow our influence and capability. This is a rare and challenging opportunity to lead a young community body with a sound funding base and strong community buy-in. OV has a strong foundation for a new CEO to continue the positive momentum and take Outdoors Victoria to the next level.
The CEO is responsible for representing the interests of the outdoors community in a wide range of government and community policy processes, as well as overseeing a small team of dedicated outdoors professionals, increasing the support available to outdoors organisations, and developing new and innovative research and outreach projects to improve the quality and breadth of outdoors experience available in Victoria.
If you have a solid track record of delivery in an executive or senior management position in a related field, an entrepreneurial spirit, sound knowledge of public policy and fundraising, and a commitment to the values of living life outdoors, this could be your chance.
