Nature Stewards Position Description

The Victorian Nature Stewards program promotes environmental literacy, participation and stewardship through discovery and action.

The Nature Stewards Program is seeking a Project Co-ordinator who will be responsible for developing and implementing a demonstration program called Nature Stewards in Victoria.

The Victorian Nature Stewards program aims to develop the environmental literacy, participation, and stewardship of communities across the state.

The program involves an introductory 10-week training course focussed on local ecosystems and environmental management; support for volunteering in local parks or natural areas with agencies or community environmental groups; and continuing ecological learning.

Part Time (0.8 EFT) 12-month contract, negotiable hours and location.
Salary range $48,000- $53,000 + superannuation.
