Parks Victoria has welcomed 37 new seasonal rangers to boost park services during the busy summer period.

The seasonal rangers will be based in different locations across the state to help Parks Victoria continue to provide quality services and experiences for the influx of visitors in Victoria’s busiest parks and waterways.

This year’s seasonal rangers will be involved in a broad range of park management activities including the delivery of interpretation and education, visitor facilities maintenance, pest animal control programs and assisting with threatened species management.

 

Two of the seasonal rangers appointed by Parks Victoria also speak mandarin and will assist non English speaking international visitors at the Grampians and 12 Apostles.

This year’s seasonal rangers will be based in the following locations:
